We are delighted to share the second publication of our project, where the CNR team shares their efforts in the TCES research.
Some highlights of the paper:
- Experimental tests of a sorption system for atmospheric water harvesting.•
- A binary salt obtained by impregnation of mesorporous silica gel with LiCl and CaCl2 was used.•
- Thermodynamics and dynamics of the process under various conditions was investigated.•
- Theoretical analysis under Messina weather data indicated a yearly water production of 0.20 to 0.35 L/kg of sorbent.
