We are happy to share that Adriana Santamaria Padilla joined the team in CIIAE before summer and is working as a postdoctoral researcher in the group under the supervision of Aleksandr Shkatulov.
Her research will focus on thermal energy conversion and storage systems and on improving material stability and reactivity for solar tower power. In the 4TunaTES project, she will also work on designing materials for thermochemical and absorptive systems, especially sulfate-based materials for low-temperature (T < 100 °C) thermochemical energy storage (TECS).
